Dr. Ewa Lesinska Kostamo
Dr. Ewa Lesinska Kostamo obtained her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2002 from the University of British Columbia. Prior to admission to Dental School, she completed three years in the faculty of Science with Microbiology as her major.
In her undergraduate training she worked as a research assistant in a study investigating the effects of Chlorhexidine (an antimicrobial agent) on patients experiencing dry mouth. While in dental school, Dr. Kostamo volunteered in St.Lucas, Guatemala. There she provided dental care to patients in a rural clinic established through the donations of dentists. Following the completion of her dental training, she worked in Richmond at the Vancouver Airport Dental Centre 2002-2009 and in New Westminster in 2008. In 2009 she joined Dr. Roman Hrabar in North Vancouver.
As an attendee of Lonsdale Elementary, Holy Trinity Elementary and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in North Vancouver she considers it a real privilege to return to the North Shore to serve her community. She strongly believes in providing the highest quality dental treatment in a comfortable and caring environment.
